Are you planning a children's holiday? Be sure to prepare this fun salad. When forming layers, do not forget to immediately adjust the shape of the ladybug. Additionally, you can decorate the dish with fresh herbs and flowers from vegetables.
Ingredients
- Beetroot (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Prunes (without a bone) – 8 pieces
- Potatoes (boiled) – 250 g
- Carrots (boiled) – 1 piece
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Cheese (solid) – 100 g
- Walnuts - handful
- Mayonnaise - 60 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel eggs, cheese and boiled vegetables, grate.
Dry the walnuts in a frying pan and chop them in a blender.
Wash the prunes with boiling water and dry them with a paper towel.
Chop two prunes, leave the rest intact.
Lay out a layer of potatoes, season with salt and pepper and add mayonnaise.
Next come layers of eggs, nuts and carrots. Again pepper, salt and smear with mayonnaise.
Put a layer of cheese on top, and then beets mixed with the remnants of mayonnaise.
From the whole prunes, lay out the spots of the ladybug, use the crushed pieces for the muzzle and the back of the trunk.
Eyes can be made from mayonnaise and prune slices.
The finished salad should stand in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
