Lately, I've been cooking Mimosa salad according to this recipe. It seems to me that sprats are tastier than any other canned food. The appetizing smoked aroma gives the dish a certain zest, makes it more interesting and unusual.
Ingredients
- Sprats - 2 banks
- Quail eggs (boiled) – 10 pieces
- Potatoes (boiled) – 300 g
- Carrots (boiled) – 200 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 120 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the sprats from the jar and mash them well with a fork.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Peel potatoes, carrots and grate.
Peel the eggs from the shell, divide into whites and yolks, grate.
Lay out the salad in layers in the following order: potatoes, sprats, onions, carrots and proteins. After each layer, add salt, ground pepper and mayonnaise.
Thickly sprinkle the salad with yolks and put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. You can decorate the dish with herbs, flowers from protein or cucumber slices.
