Nicoise is a famous French salad with fresh vegetables, eggs and anchovies. The dish came to us from Nice, and deservedly became one of the most popular in the world. In everyday life, nicoise can be prepared with any canned fish.
Ingredients
- Canned fish - 2 banks
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Cherry tomatoes - 160 g
- Cucumbers - 2 pieces
- Salad mix - 2 handfuls
- Greenery - 4 twigs
- String beans - 150 g
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Wine vinegar - 2 tsp.
- Dijon mustard - 2 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the eggs until tender and chop coarsely.
Similarly, coarsely chop all the other vegetables and add the salad mix.
Boil the string beans for a couple of minutes in boiling water.
Add the fish and chopped greens, put the salad on plates.
Season with oil, Dijon mustard and wine vinegar.
