There is one very tasty dish in Belarusian cuisine — potato pancakes. There are many interesting recipes, but I like the option without eggs, sour cream and other additives the most. The taste of potatoes then turns out rich and pronounced.
Ingredients
For the dough:
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the potatoes and grate them on a coarse grater.
Lightly squeeze out excess liquid with your hands.
Add flour, salt and ground black pepper. Mix the mass well.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, spoon out neat islands of potato mass.
Fry the pancakes until golden brown on both sides and put them on a paper napkin. Repeat the steps with the remaining potato dough.
Serve ready-made pancakes with chilled sour cream and finely chopped herbs.
