- Cabbage (white) – 500 g
- Smoked sausage - 250 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Tomato juice - 150 ml
- Vegetable oil - 60 ml
- allspice - 4 peas
- Salt - to taste
- Dill (for decoration) – 3 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the sausage, cabbage and peeled onion.
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Add the sausage and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes.
Pour in the cabbage, stir and cover with a lid. Cook for 15 minutes on low heat.
Add tomato juice and allspice. Simmer all together for 10 minutes.
Add salt, turn off and leave under the lid for 20 minutes. Serve, decorating the dish with a sprig of fresh dill.
