Cook the spaghetti a little earlier in salted water. Cut the bacon into thin strips or cubes. Finely chop the peeled garlic cloves.
Put the bacon and garlic in a preheated frying pan, fry on low heat for 4-5 minutes.
Put a couple of yolks in a bowl and pour in the cream. Throw in a pinch of salt.
Add grated cheddar and mix.
Put the spaghetti in the pan and stir, wait a couple of minutes.
Pour the filling into the pan, mix everything quickly and turn off the heating. Leave the paste under the lid for 5 minutes.
Serve the carbonara hot so that the sauce does not have time to harden. And basil leaves will make the dish more fragrant!
