Pork ribs with prunes are on the list of my most favorite dishes. I cook them for holidays and just when I want to please my family with delicious. The dish turns out fragrant, juicy and with a light smoked taste.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 1 kg
- Prunes (without a bone) – 100 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Tomato sauce - 150 ml
- Ground black pepper - 1 tsp.
- Salt (large) – 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the ribs, dry them with a paper towel and cut them.
Rinse the prunes and pour boiling water for 15 minutes.
Peel the onion from the husk and chop.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Add salt, ground pepper, tomato sauce, stir and turn off.
Put the ribs in a frying pan and mix. Each piece should be thoroughly "bathed" in the sauce.
Put the ribs in a baking dish, add the prunes.
Cover tightly with two layers of foil and send it to a preheated 180 degree oven for 50 minutes.
Carefully remove the foil and continue cooking for another 15 minutes.
