Treat your family to a delicious dinner, cook stewed cabbage with chicken. Tender meat is cooked quickly, so do not over-dry it in a frying pan. And to make the cabbage soft, chop it, add salt and slightly mash it with your hands.
Ingredients
- Cabbage (white) – 600 g
- Chicken fillet - 300 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Vegetable oil - 5 art.l.
- Tomato paste - 50 g
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken broth - 150 ml
- Parsley (for submission) – 2 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken fillet, dry it with paper towels and cut it.
Chop the cabbage, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Peel the onion from the husk and chop.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the chicken and fry for 10 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a saucepan and cover with a lid.
In the remaining oil, fry the onion and carrot until golden brown.
Add the cabbage, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Put the vegetables in a saucepan with meat, pour in the hot broth mixed with tomato paste and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.
Add ground black pepper, salt and turn off. When serving, add a little fresh parsley to the plate.
