The classic French omelet uses only eggs, salt and ground pepper. And it should be salted at the very end, otherwise the dish will turn out to be tough. Apparently, that's why French omelets turn out to be so tender and delicious.
Ingredients
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 20 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the eggs, dry them and break them into a bowl.
Shake the eggs with a fork until smooth.
Grease the bottom and inner parts of the sides of the pan with oil, heat over medium heat. Pour in the shaken eggs and cook for 1 minute.
When the eggs are slightly set, add salt and ground pepper. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
Using a spatula and fork, gently roll the omelet into a roll. Cover and fry for another 2 minutes.
