Rustic potatoes can be served as a side dish or snack. If desired, it is easy to make potatoes sharp enough if you add ground red pepper. You can also give a characteristic piquant note using garlic.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 600 g
  • Mustard - 1 tsp.
  • Vegetable oil - 35 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Spices and seasonings - to taste

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the potatoes thoroughly. It is best to use a rough sponge for this.

Cut all the washed potatoes into slices.

Pour vegetable oil into a deep bowl or saucepan, add mustard, salt and spices.

Put the potatoes in a bowl. If it is of a starchy variety, then boil it for 5-6 minutes before that.

Cover the bowl with a lid and shake the contents quite intensively several times. Then all the components will be thoroughly mixed.

Put the potatoes in a baking dish or on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Bake for 20-30 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.

Serve the finished potatoes in a rustic way hot with various sauces and fragrant herbs.
