In our usual understanding, an omelet is a simple dish that is prepared in a hurry. But the Spaniards don't think so! It takes them more than an hour. I'm telling you how to cook a Spanish potato omelet in a slow cooker!
Ingredients
- Potatoes - 350 g
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Cream - 2 tbsp.l .
- Butter - 50 g
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.
Peel the onion from the husk and chop.
Pour vegetable oil into the bowl of the slow cooker, turn on the "Frying" program. Add the potatoes and fry for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add salt, chopped onion, stir and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Vegetables should turn out soft.
Turn off the slow cooker, transfer its contents to a separate plate and crush it with a pusher.
Beat the eggs lightly with salt, cream and pour into the mashed potatoes. Stir and set aside for 15 minutes.
Turn on the "Baking" mode at the slow cooker, melt the butter.
Pour in the resulting mixture, close the lid and cook for 20-25 minutes.
Put the finished omelet on a plate and slice. Bon appetit!
