When there is no time to cook, you can cook lazy dumplings with cottage cheese. The recipe is surprisingly simple: knead the curd dough, cut and boil. In less than half an hour, a plate of fragrant dumplings will already be on your table!
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese - 400 g
- Flour - 120 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Butter - 60 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
In a wide bowl, mix cottage cheese, salt, sugar and eggs. Mash everything slightly with a fork.
Add flour and knead the dough. It should be soft and pliable.
Form thin sausages and cut into pieces of the same size.
Add salt to boiling water, pour in a portion of lazy dumplings and mix. After the dumplings pop up, cook for 2 minutes. Catch the dumplings with a slotted spoon, flip them into a colander and leave to drain for 2-3 minutes.
Repeat the steps with the rest of the dumplings. I do not advise cooking everything at once, they should be spacious in the pan. Put the finished dumplings in a bowl, add the butter and mix.
