One of the most ancient dishes of East Asia can be called pilaf. It is believed that it was first brewed more than 2 thousand years ago. Now this dish is popular in many countries. I'm telling you my favorite recipe for crumbly pilaf with chicken!

Wash the chicken, dry it with paper towels and cut it into small cubes.

Peel the onion and finely chop it, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Add the chicken, cumin, bay leaf, allspice and continue cooking for another 7-10 minutes.

Pour in a glass of boiling water and simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat.

Put the fried chicken in a saucepan, pour in the remaining water, add salt and washed rice. Cook for 30 minutes on low heat.

Insist the finished pilaf under the lid for 20 minutes.
