In Italian cuisine, such an omelet is called "Frittata". Fry the bacon with vegetables, pour the egg-cheese mixture and get ready to enjoy the simplest and most delicious dish. You can cook it for breakfast and just when you want a quick snack.
Ingredients
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Milk - 50 ml
- Bacon - 100 g
- Cheese (solid) – 50 g
- Bell pepper - half
- Cherry tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Green peas - 2 tbsp.l.
- Onion - 1 piece
- Marjoram - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 30 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the bacon, tomatoes, bell peppers and peeled onions.
Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater.
Lightly beat the eggs with salt, ground pepper and marjoram.
Add milk, grated cheese, green peas and mix until smooth.
Melt the butter in a frying pan and heat it well.
Add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Add bell pepper, tomatoes, bacon and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the egg-milk mixture and fry for 1.5 minutes over medium heat.
Turn down the heat and cook for another 5 minutes.
Gently flip the omelet to the other side and continue cooking under the lid for another 4 minutes.
