This recipe will surely appeal to all fans of dietary dishes! By themselves, chicken meatballs are a bit bland, so there are two secrets here: spices and sauce. I really like to serve them with sweet and sour sauce, sweet chili or teriyaki. Try and experiment!

Chop the leeks and fry in a small amount of olive oil.

Add onion, boiled rice, egg and spices to the minced meat to taste. Mix thoroughly and form small meatballs with walnuts.

Lightly fry them in the remaining oil until browned. Pour in the water and simmer under the lid until tender for about 30 minutes.

Serve meatballs with your favorite sauce to garnish or as a snack.
