Garlic arrows are a wonderful seasonal ingredient that will diversify any dish. This time I suggest adding them to the classic Ukrainian borscht. So it will be even tastier and more fragrant, and your household will definitely be delighted.
Ingredients
- Chicken broth - 2.5 l
- Cabbage - 500 g
- Bell pepper - 100 g
- Beetroot - 1 piece
- Tomato paste - 100 g
- Potatoes - 700 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Garlic Arrows - 100 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the beetroot, pour in the broth and cook over medium heat until the beetroot is boiled.
Add diced potatoes and cook until half cooked.
Add chopped cabbage and pepper, and cook until tender.
Chop the onion and grate the carrots. Fry until soft.
Add tomato paste and fry for another 5 minutes.
Send the roast and finely chopped garlic arrows to the pan. Season the borscht and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
