It seems that couscous is one of the most underrated cereals in the daily diet. But this is not even an exotic plant, but just wheat groats, just processed in a slightly unusual way. By the way, did you know that the closest relative of couscous is semolina?

- Chicken fillet - 200 g
- Couscous - 150 g
- Zucchini - 150 g
- Carrots - 50 g
- Onion - 0.5 pieces
- Greenery - 5 twigs
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the vegetables and chicken into arbitrary pieces – I like it bigger.
Pour boiling water over the couscous so that it covers it by a centimeter, and leave to swell for 5-7 minutes.
Fry the onion and carrot in vegetable oil, and after 2-3 minutes add the zucchini.
Simmer the vegetables together for 5 minutes, and add the chicken to them.
When the chicken is ready, after about 7-10 minutes, pour the couscous to the vegetables, season to taste and let the dish brew a little under the lid.
Sprinkle everything with chopped herbs.
