Are you going to cook dolma? Be patient, because the process of twisting the filling into leaves is quite long. Calculate the required time, turn on your favorite TV series and get down to business. To make the dish juicy, it is better to use a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- Grape leaves (pickled) – 50 pieces
- Minced meat - 400 g
- Steamed rice - 1,5 glasses
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable broth - 1,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the rice and pour hot water for 10-15 minutes.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Activate the "Frying" mode and heat the oil well.
Add onion and carrot and fry until golden brown.
Mix the minced meat, rice, roast, salt and ground pepper.
Spread a grape leaf on a board, put a little filling in the middle, turn the sides inside and roll up a loose roll. Repeat the steps with the remaining blanks.
Cover the bottom of the bowl of the slow cooker with grape leaves, spread out the dolma and pour in the hot broth.
Add salt and ground pepper to taste, close the lid and turn on the "Stewing" mode for 40 minutes.
