This tomato sauce is a bit like lecho. And if you add more vegetables, it will quite pass for a full-fledged side dish. Although I prefer to cook it as gravy, and serve such meatballs with potatoes or rice.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Chop half of the onion in a blender and send it to the stuffing.

Boil the rice until it is half cooked and add it to the same place.

Season the minced meat, mix well and form meatballs.

Chop the pepper and the remaining onion, and fry for a couple of minutes.

Chop the peeled tomatoes in a blender, pour in the vegetables, add the broth and bring to a boil.

Put the meatballs in the vegetables and simmer on low heat until they are ready.
