In Georgian Kharcho soup, beef can be easily replaced, for example, with pork. This very fragrant and spicy dish will come in handy in the cold season, thanks to its warming effect.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

To prepare the broth, put the coarsely chopped meat in a saucepan, pour cold water, bring to a boil and cook for 50 minutes, removing the foam.

Finely chop the onion, peel and slice the potatoes.

Add onion, washed rice and potatoes to the broth. Cook until the rice is fully cooked.

Send tomato paste to a preheated frying pan with sunflower oil, lightly fry.

Add suneli hops and bay leaf to the pasta. Put all this in a saucepan with broth and cook for another 10 minutes.

Turn off the heat, sprinkle the soup with herbs. Let the kharcho brew for 20 minutes.
