If you are not afraid of gastronomic experiments and culinary surprises, be sure to try this baked mackerel with mushrooms and cherries. Cherries are suitable even frozen. I prefer to remove the bones, but you can leave it whole – it will cope with its task anyway.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Thinly slice the onion, chop the mushrooms and defrost the cherries.

Peel the mackerel, rub it with oil and season.

Put the fish in a mold, and spread the rest of the ingredients around.

Bake for about 40 minutes at 190 degrees.
