We are used to serving borscht or sorrel soup with sour cream, but what about pea soup? I share a proven recipe that is perfect for just such a combination. By the way, this is also a fairly easy option.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 1 piece
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Peas - 300 g
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Celery - 2 of the stem
- Onion - 1 piece
- Dill - 4 twigs
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Sour cream - 80 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the chicken fillet until tender, remove from the broth and slice.
Soak the peas in advance, rinse and boil in the broth for about 20 minutes.
Add the sliced potatoes, and after another 10 minutes – the rest of the vegetables.
After 10 minutes, return the chicken back, add spices and chopped dill. Cook until the ingredients are ready.
Serve the soup with sour cream.
