Casserole is a versatile dish that can be prepared from almost any ingredients. Today I suggest using zucchini, beans and ham for this. Of course, some more products will be needed, but these will be the main ones.
Ingredients
- Ham - 300 g
- Zucchini - 2 pieces
- Tomatoes (medium) – 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Red beans (canned) – 1 bank
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Milk - 1 glass
- Sour cream - 1 art.l.
- Cheese (solid) – 100 g
- Flour - 4 art.l.
- Butter - 50 g
- Olive oil (to lubricate the mold) – 1 art.l.
- Baking powder dough - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Basil (for decoration) – 1 twig
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the ham, zucchini, tomatoes and peeled onion.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Add the zucchini and continue cooking until the excess moisture evaporates.
In a deep bowl, whisk the eggs with sour cream, salt and ground pepper.
Add warm milk and flour mixed with baking powder. Mix everything until smooth.
Put the canned beans in a colander and rinse under running water.
Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater.
Mix fried vegetables, tomatoes, ham, red beans and cheese.
Put the mass into a mold greased with olive oil.
Add the prepared filling and put it in the oven for 35-40 minutes. The optimal temperature for baking is 180 degrees.
Cut the finished casserole, put it on a plate and garnish with basil.
