Did you buy new potatoes? Be sure to cook delicious goulash with it. As the main ingredient, it is best to use young veal. I try to choose fillets that have no fat at all.
Ingredients
- Veal (fillet) – 500 g
- Young potatoes - 400 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Flour - 2 art.l.
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.l.
- Tomato paste - 40 g
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Water (filtered) – 800 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the veal, dry it and cut it into small pieces.
Peel and slice potatoes, carrots and onions.
In a hot frying pan with oil, fry the veal until golden brown.
Add the carrots and onions and continue cooking until the onion is transparent.
Mix flour, tomato paste and half of the water.
Pour the resulting mixture into a frying pan, cover with a lid and simmer for 40 minutes.
Add potatoes, bay leaf and remaining water. Add salt and cook under the lid for another 15 minutes.
