Cabbage rolls with sour cream sauce in a slow cooker
Many people's favorite dish can be easily cooked in a slow cooker. And it will turn out to be more juicy, tasty and fragrant! In this recipe, sour cream will be used instead of tomato paste. Flour and fried vegetables add density to the sauce.
Ingredients
- Cabbage (white) – 1 head
- Bell pepper - 150 g
- Tomatoes - 1 piece
- Sour cream - 150 g
- Flour - 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - to taste
- Water - 1 l
- Rice - 200 g
- Minced chicken - 300 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable oil - 3 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the rice, pour hot water and cover with a lid for 15 minutes.
Peel the cabbage from the upper leaves, cut out the stalk and place it in a saucepan with boiling water. Cook for 20-30 minutes, periodically remove and remove the soft leaves. Repeat the steps until you remove all suitable sheets.
Finely chop tomatoes, peeled bell peppers and onions. Grate the carrots.
Activate the "Frying" mode and fry onions and carrots in oil until golden brown.
Transfer the roast to a filling bowl, and fry the tomatoes and bell peppers in the remaining oil. 4-5 minutes is enough.
Mix minced meat, rice, fried onions with carrots, salt and ground pepper.
Put a little filling on the edge of the cabbage leaf, turn the edges inside and roll up a loose roll.
Separately mix water, sour cream, flour, fried tomatoes with bell pepper and salt.
Put the cabbage rolls in the bowl of the slow cooker, pour in the prepared sauce and close the lid. Cook for 1 hour on the "Stewing" mode.
