Do you want to cook something unusual for dinner? Cook corn porridge according to the classic Hutsul recipe. The dish is a bit troublesome, but the result fully justifies all efforts!
Ingredients
- Corn groats - 400 g
- Water - 1200 ml
- Butter - 50 g
- Goat cheese - 200 g
- Suluguni - 150 g
- Parsley - 5 twigs
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour the corn grits on a baking sheet and heat for 10 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven.
Boil water in a thick-walled cauldron, add salt and corn grits. Cook for 20 minutes on very low heat.
Add the butter, stir and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Crumble goat cheese, grate suluguni, finely chop parsley.
Arrange the hot porridge on plates, sprinkle with goat cheese, suluguni and herbs.
