I love cooking meatballs in the oven, because you don't need to keep an eye on the pan and constantly mix something. You can simply prepare all the ingredients, set the desired temperature and go about your business. Catch the original recipe with cabbage!

Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the cabbage as small as possible and simmer with 100-150 ml of water in a frying pan under a lid until soft. The liquid will completely evaporate during this time.
Add oil and brown the cabbage over medium heat, and then let it cool.
Mix cabbage with minced meat, add spices to taste and form round meatballs. Put them in a baking dish.
Mix tomato paste, crushed garlic and spices with about 300-400 ml of water and pour over the meatballs.
Put them in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees under foil.
Remove the foil, cover the meatballs with grated cheese and put them in the oven for another 10 minutes. Garnish with herbs before serving.
