Even such a simple and unassuming dish as barley porridge can be prepared in an unusual way. For example, boil it in coconut milk. And to make it easier and faster, we'll do it in a slow cooker. To serve, take jam, berries and coconut chips.
Ingredients
- Barley groats - 1 glass
- Coconut milk - 3 glasses
- Coconut chips - 3 tbsp.l .
- Flax seeds - 2 tbsp.l .
- Jam - 2 art.l.
- Strawberries - 100 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the barley grits and put them in the bowl of the slow cooker.
Add coconut chips, flax seeds and spices to taste.
Pour in the coconut milk, and cook for 35 minutes in the "Porridge" mode.
At the end, add the jam and sliced strawberries.
