Of course, this is not exactly a classic curry sauce, but it is no less delicious, but a more practical adaptation. Such meatballs are especially good with a side dish of crumbly boiled rice. Feel free to surprise your guests and loved ones!
Ingredients
For meatballs:
- Minced chicken - 800 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Parmesan (grated) – 40 g
- Oregano - 0.5 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 0.5 tsp.
For curry sauce:
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Bell pepper - 0.5 pieces
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Ginger (grated) – 1 art.l.
- Garlic - 5 teeth
- Tomato sauce - 300 g
- Yogurt - 150 g
- Milk - 400 ml
- Bay leaf - 1 piece
- Curry - 1 tsp.
- Turmeric - 1 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 1 tsp.
- Cumin - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs, form small balls and fry.
Finely chop the onion and fry until transparent. Add garlic, chili, bell pepper and ginger, and fry for another minute.
Add all the spices, and simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat.
Add yogurt, tomato sauce and milk, and mix thoroughly. Boil for another 15 minutes on low heat.
Put the meatballs in the sauce, add the bay leaf and simmer for another 5 minutes.
