The classic version of the carp recipe on the grill does not imply the use of marinade. To your taste, you can marinate the fish with lemon juice, sour cream sauce or tomato paste. In this case, it turns out to be especially tender and delicious.
Ingredients
- Sour cream - 1 glass
- Onion - 2 pcs.
- Greenery - 1 bundle
- Salt - to taste
- Ground black pepper - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Clean and gut the fish, remove the gills or the whole head, rinse well, dry with a paper towel.
Use a knife to make transverse incisions on both sides of the carcass.
Mix salt and pepper, rub the fish on all sides with the resulting mixture.
Chop the garlic and fill the transverse incisions with it.
Cut the onion into thin half rings.
Stuff the fish with onions and sprigs of greens. To prevent the filling from falling out during cooking, fasten the abdomen with wooden toothpicks.
Prepare the grill. Grease the grill with vegetable oil so that the fish does not stick.
Put the carp on the grill and fry for 20-25 minutes, constantly turning over.
Decorate the finished dish with lemon slices, tomatoes and sprigs of fresh herbs.
If you want to make a marinade: Chop the greens coarsely. Cut the onion into thin half rings. In a bowl, mix sour cream, onion and herbs. Add salt and pepper to taste. Marinate the prepared fish for 2-3 hours. Important! The larger the fish, the more time it will take to marinate.
