It often happens that fresh milk has run out, but there is a little dry in stock. It can also be used to make a very tasty pizza dough. I share with you a proven recipe that I often use myself. I suggest making a cheese pizza.
Ingredients
- Flour - 350 g
- Powdered milk - 5 tbsp.l.
- Dry yeast - 1,5 tsp.
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Sugar - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water (warm) – 200 ml
- Vegetable oil (for lubrication) – 30 ml
- Mozzarella (bocconcini) – 100 g
- Cheddar Cheese - 100 g
- Italian herbs - 0,5 tsp.
- Basil (for decoration) – 1 twig
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix warm water, sugar, milk powder and yeast. Leave in the heat for 10 minutes.
Add the sifted flour, salt and lightly beaten egg.
Lubricate your hands with oil and knead a soft dough. Cover the top with a towel and leave in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Grate the cheddar on a coarse grater, cut the mozzarella into circles.
Melt butter in a frying pan, add flour and mix. Fry for 1.5-2 minutes until golden brown.
Pour in warm milk and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add grated parmesan, nutmeg and garlic passed through the press. Stir and turn off after 1 minute.
Roll out the dough into a thin cake and put it on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.
With a silicone brush, generously lubricate the workpiece with sauce.
Spread the grated Cheddar cheese and mozzarella slices evenly on top.
Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
Slice the finished pizza and garnish with a sprig of basil.
