In winter, when I want hearty and delicious food, I cook donuts. Lately I've been liking this recipe more and more. If you do not have dry yeast, replace them with 20 g of fresh. Otherwise, the cooking process will be unchanged.
Ingredients
- Flour - 500 g
- Dry yeast - 7 g
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Milk (warm) – 200 ml
- Salt - at the tip of the knife
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 400 ml
- Jam (strawberry) – 200 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix dry yeast, warm milk and sugar. Remove the workpiece to the side for 10 minutes.
Add egg, salt, 2 tbsp vegetable oil and sifted flour.
Knead the soft dough, cover with a towel and put it in a warm place for 1.5 hours.
Roll out the dough into a cake 2-3 centimeters thick. Using a special cutting, squeeze out the donuts.
Fry the donuts in hot oil until golden brown, place on a paper towel and cool.
Using a pastry bag, fill the donuts with strawberry jam. Ready-made donuts can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or cinnamon.
