I love croissants, but cooking dough at home is a torment for me. That is why I offer you my favorite recipe - croissants made of puff pastry, which you can buy in any supermarket. Add the filling to your taste and the dessert is ready for tea.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry (yeast–free) - 500 g
- Sugar - 20 g
- Egg yolks - 1 piece
- Jam - 150 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Take out the dough, leave it on the table to defrost. Sprinkle the table with flour and roll out the dough. Cut it into triangular strips.
Put a couple of teaspoons of jam on the wide end and roll up the croissant.
Put the croissants on parchment on a baking sheet, anoint with egg yolk on top and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in the oven at 180C for about 25-30 minutes.
