Will guests come in the evening? Bake an appetizing roll with poppy seeds for tea. Be sure, such a treat is much better than any cake from the store. There are some difficulties in the cooking process, but they are easy to cope with. Attentiveness, accuracy and, of course, a good recipe will help.

Ingredients

For Dough:
  • Flour - 350 g
  • Dry yeast (high–speed) - 1 tsp.
  • Butter - 50 g
  • Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
  • Water (warm) – 180 ml
  • Baking powder dough - 1 tsp.
  • Sugar - 2 art.l.
  • Salt - at the tip of the knife
  • Powdered sugar (for sprinkling) – 1 tbsp.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Melt the butter in the microwave or in a frying pan.

Beat chicken eggs with salt and sugar.

Sift flour into a wide bowl, add yeast, baking powder and mix.

Add the beaten eggs, warm water, butter and knead the dough. It should be soft and plastic.

Put the dough in a bowl, cover with a towel and put it in a warm place for 1 hour.

Rinse the poppy seeds, pour in milk and boil for 30 minutes. The liquid should evaporate completely.

Add sugar, butter and heat over low heat for another 2 minutes.

Grind the mass with an immersion blender until smooth.

Knead the dough slightly and divide it into two parts.

Form a ball from one piece and roll out an even rectangle.

Lay out half of the filling, leaving 1.5 centimeters free on all sides.

Loosely roll the roll, lightly seal the edges and place on a greased baking sheet.

Repeat the same steps with the second half of the test.

Bake the rolls in a preheated 180 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.

Remove the rolls from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
