This pie with the thinnest layer of dough and cheese crust is a favorite treat of my whole family. Tuna, tomatoes and basil are a win–win combination, and it is much easier to prepare than it seems at first glance.
Ingredients
- Butter - 150 g
- Flour - 250 g
- Water (icy) – 4 tbsp.l .
- Salt - 0.5 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the butter and flour into crumbs, add salt and water, and quickly knead the dough.
Form a ball, roll it thinly into shape and make small sides.
Prick the dough with a fork and bake for 7-10 minutes at 200 degrees. So that it does not swell, you can cover it with parchment and cover it with dry peas.
Chop the ingredients for the filling.
Fry the onion until golden, and add the tomatoes to it. After a couple of minutes, add the chopped olives and chopped basil.
Simmer the filling a little more and let it cool slightly. Put it on the dough.
Whisk the egg with cream, season to taste and pour over the pie.
Cover everything with a uniform layer of grated cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees.
