Simple and quick khachapuri for all lovers of homemade Georgian cuisine. If desired, you can easily do without even an oven! This time I suggest cooking them in a frying pan with a filling of cheese and green onions.
Ingredients
For Dough:
- Flour - 3 glasses
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Baking soda - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 art.l.
For filling:
- Green onion - 1 bundle
- Greenery - 1 bundle
- Cheese - 350 g
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix egg, kefir, butter, salt, sugar and soda.
Add the sifted flour to the dough and knead thoroughly.
Mash the cheese and mix with chopped green onions, herbs and spices.
Divide the dough into pieces, roll out into tortillas and put on each filling.
Collect the tortillas with a bag, and roll them out again.
Fry the khachapuri on both sides under a lid in a dry frying pan until browned.
