Croissants at home can be prepared both from store-bought dough and independently. They will not taste worse, but the prepared dough at home will be even tastier and more crispy. You can also experiment with the filling.
Ingredients
- Flour - 500 g
- Butter - 200 g
- Yeast - 15 g
- Sugar - 1 tbsp. l
- Salt - 1 part l
- Strawberries - 400 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Melt the butter in the microwave, add salt, yeast, sugar and mix. Add flour and knead the dough well. Put it in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
When the dough stands, take it out and roll it into a circle, cut into triangles. Put strawberries on the end of each triangle, sprinkle with sugar and roll a croissant.
Put the croissants on the baking sheet with parchment, brush the egg yolk on top and send it to the oven to bake for 30 minutes at 180C.
Take out the finished croissants, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
