Soak the peas overnight.

Fill the beef with water and cook for an hour on low heat.

Add the chopped smoked meats and potatoes. After 10 minutes, add the carrots. Cook everything together for another 20 minutes.

Finely chop the onion and mix with flour.

Fry it in butter for a couple of minutes, sprinkle with sugar and fry until golden.

Remove the soup from the heat, season to taste and sprinkle with onions.
