In the plum harvest season, we offer you to bake a very simple, but at the same time extremely delicious dessert - charlotte. Plum, as a filling, makes the cake juicy and soft. Our recipe will not take you much time to prepare, and the result will please your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- Flour - 200 g
- Plums - 1 kg
- Sugar - 2 st
- Chicken eggs - 8 pieces
- Vegetable oil - 1 part l
- Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp
- Lemon zest - 1 tsp
- Baking powder - 2 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rinse the plums, cut in half, remove the stone.
To prepare the sponge dough, beat the eggs into the bowl of the mixer, pour sugar, vanilla sugar. Beat until a dense foam forms.
Sift 2 cups of wheat flour into a bowl, add baking powder, grate 2 tsp lemon zest. Mix it up.
Pour ¼ of the dough into a baking dish, greasing it with vegetable oil.
Put the cream halves on the dough layer in one layer.
Pour out ¼ of the dough again. And arrange the plums in the same way. Pour out the remains of the dough, level the top with a spatula.
Send the charlotte to a preheated 180 degree oven for an hour.
Take the pie out of the oven. Let it cool down. Place on a platter and sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
