There are a million recipes for khachapuri dough, even if it is khachapuri in a frying pan. Today I offer a simple, affordable and budget option – on ordinary water. Let's take the classic cheese filling – there's nothing else you need.
Ingredients
For the test:
- Water - 1 glass
- Flour - 3 glasses
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Salt - 0.5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 1 art.l.
For filling:
- Cheese - 400 g
- Sour cream - 2 art.l.
- Egg yolks - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Beat the egg with water and butter, add the dry ingredients, knead the dough and leave for 15 minutes.
Mix the grated cheese, and set aside a little for sprinkling. Mix the rest with sour cream and yolk.
Divide and roll out the dough, lay out the cheese filling, roll up the bags and roll out again.
Fry the khachapuri until browned in a dry frying pan, turn it over and sprinkle with cheese.
Fry further until cooked under the lid.
