Did you buy a big pumpkin in the store? Be sure to make pancakes out of it! Previously, the vegetable should be boiled or baked in the oven until ready. In this recipe I will tell you about the first option. To taste, you can add spices or hot pepper.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin - 400 g
  • Garlic - 3 clove
  • Greenery (any) – a couple of twigs
  • Flour - 100 g
  • Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
  • Sour cream - 100 ml
  • Baking soda - 0,5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 80 ml
  • Water - 100 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the pumpkin, cut into cubes and place it in a small saucepan.

Add water and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.

Mash the pumpkin with a pusher or chop it with an immersion blender.

Mix eggs, sour cream, salt, ground pepper and baking soda.

Add pumpkin puree, chopped herbs and garlic passed through the press.

Pour in the sifted flour and mix well.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, spoon out small pancakes and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side.
