The classic filling for puffs, time–tested, is cheese with herbs. On the one hand, it couldn't be simpler. And on the other hand, there is always space for experimenting with different varieties of this very cheese, and with different types of greens.
Ingredients
- Puff pastry - 500 g
- Cheese - 300 g
- Butter - 30 g
- Greenery - 1-2 beam
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the rolled dough into squares.
Mix grated cheese, chopped herbs and melted butter.
Put the filling in the middle of the blanks and wrap the corners up with an envelope.
Brush the puffs with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees in the oven.
