Fragrant juicers according to this recipe are very popular in my family. I prepare shortbread dough with the addition of sour cream, then the pastry comes out more airy and moist, and the crumbly properties of the shortbread are preserved. These juicers stay fresh for several days.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the softened butter into pieces, combine with salt, sugar, sour cream and eggs. Add vanilla sugar and baking powder. Whisk with a whisk.

Gradually add the sifted flour to the liquid mass. Mix well with a spoon, and when the dough becomes thick, knead with your hands. Try not to clog the dough with flour, it should be soft, homogeneous, slightly moist. Cover the finished dough with cling film and take care of the filling.

Combine cottage cheese with sour cream and sugar, add vanilla sugar if desired. Rub the filling with a fork until smooth.

Sprinkle the table with flour, roll out the dough 2-3 mm thick. Cut out circles with a special shape with wavy edges or a metal cupcake mold.

Spoon the curd filling onto one half of each circle, then bend in half without closing the edges.

Put the juicers on a baking sheet covered with parchment and greased with vegetable oil, at a small distance from each other, brush with beaten egg and bake in a preheated 180 ° C oven for 20-25 minutes.

Cool the ready-made shortbread juicers a little, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with tea, coffee or warm milk.
