For cooking, use warm kefir, and melt the butter in the microwave.

In a bowl, mix kefir, salt, sugar and baking powder for the dough. Leave it on for 10 minutes.

Now add butter and some flour to the kefir. Mix well and add the rest of the flour. Knead a thick dough, roll it into a sausage and divide into portions.

Heat the oil in a saucepan. Roll the dough into balls and throw them into the frying oil. When the balls turn golden, take them out on a paper towel. Then transfer to a deep dish and pour honey or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
