Tired of the usual recipes? Try to cook Japanese dorayaki pancakes. They somewhat resemble American pancakes, but they turn out even more lush and tender. A distinctive feature can also be called - a beautiful dark caramel color.

Ingredients

  • Flour - 260 g
  • Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Baking powder dough - 1,5 tsp.
  • Honey (liquid) – 2 art.l.
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 2 art.l.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Using a mixer, beat the eggs to a fluffy foam.

Without stopping the mixer, add honey and sugar. Beat for another 3 minutes.

Add water and flour mixed with baking powder. Whisk everything together until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, pour the dough with a tablespoon into the center. You should get a regular circle with a diameter of about 10 centimeters.

When bubbles appear on the surface, flip the pancake to the other side and continue cooking for another 1 minute.

Repeat the steps with the rest of the test. If desired, dorayaki can be glued together in pairs with your favorite filling.
