Traditional cuisines of different regions are rich in their secrets, but almost everywhere there is its own version of fragrant and fluffy fried flour donuts. In Kazakh and Tatar cuisine, these are baursaks, and today I will tell you how to cook them with sour milk.
Ingredients
- Sour milk - 500 ml
- Chicken eggs - 1 piece
- Flour - 2-3 glasses
- Dry yeast - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix the dry ingredients for the dough.
Pour in the slightly heated sour milk and then add the egg and sugar.
Knead the dough and leave it in the heat for an hour.
Form baursaks of any shape to taste and leave for another 15 minutes.
Fry them in plenty of oil until golden brown.
