Lovers of delicious donuts should definitely try Kazakh baursaks. They are still cooked deep-fried, but the dough is kneaded according to a special recipe. You can serve it with jam, honey, condensed milk and just like that.
Ingredients
- Flour - 600 g
- Dry yeast - 3 tsp.
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Milk (warm) – 100 ml
- Water (warm) – 150 ml
- Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Salt - on the tip of the knife
- Butter - 50 g
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 500 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
In a deep bowl, mix milk, water, powdered sugar, dry yeast and 3 tbsp flour. Cover with plastic wrap and put away in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Sift flour, add lightly beaten eggs, sourdough and melted butter.
Knead a soft dough, cover with a towel and leave in the heat for 1 hour.
Knead the dough and put it back in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.
Roll out the cake about 1 centimeter thick and cut into small pieces of any shape.
Spread in portions on a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil and fry until golden brown.
