There are dozens of recipes for homemade honey cakes, and each hostess has her own secrets. Today I want to share with you an excellent kefir test. The dessert turns out to be very light, airy and fragrant. Serve it with caramel or citrus jam.
Ingredients
- Kefir - 120 ml
- Flour - 170 g
- Honey - 120 g
- Sugar - 120 g
- Chicken eggs - 2 pieces
- Baking soda - 1 tsp.
- Walnuts - 70 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy. Pour in the liquid honey and add the soda and whisk again.
Add kefir and whisk the mass again until smooth.
Chop the nuts in a blender and add to the dough with sifted flour and cinnamon. Mix it up.
Pour the dough into the mold and bake the gingerbread for about 40 minutes in the oven at 170 degrees.
