Ingredients
- Flour - 500 g
- Margarine (soft) – 250 g
- Milk (warm) – 200 ml
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- Baking powder - 1 tsp.
- Vanilla Essence - 1 drop
- Lemon zest - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix softened margarine with sugar and beat at medium speed of the mixer for 5-7 minutes.
Continuing to beat, add one egg at a time. The mass should become homogeneous.
Add salt, vanilla essence, zest, warm milk and mix.
Add the sifted flour mixed with baking powder and mix well again.
Put the dough into the prepared mold and bake for 25-35 minutes at 180 degrees. Depending on the thickness of the cake, the time varies slightly.
The finished cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar, nuts or chocolate icing.
