Classic khachapuri in Adjarian style is prepared only with cheese. But nothing prevents us from experimenting with the filling. For example, here is an option with ham. A simple and satisfying snack that is impossible to resist!
Ingredients
For Dough:
- Flour - 400 g
- Water - 150 ml
- Milk - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 2 tsp.
- Dry yeast - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Chicken eggs (for lubrication) – 1 piece

Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix all the dry ingredients for the dough and pour in warm water with milk.
Knead the elastic dough and leave it warm for an hour.
Divide it into parts, roll it into rectangles and form boats.
Finely chop the ham and tomatoes, grate the cheese and put the filling in the boats. Leave it on for 10 minutes.
Grease the sides of the dough with egg and bake khachapuri for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
